• James Axley Creative Writing Award Finalist in 2020.

• Published poems “Holi Spirituality” and “Temples” and artworks “Dotwork Crystals,” “Geometric Deer Head,” and “God Is A Woman” in Pegasus, Rose State College’s Annual Literary Journal, in 2020.

• Published poems “Nectar,” “Letters,” “Honey,” and “Layers” in Pegasus, Rose State College’s annual Literary Journal, in 2019.

• Published poems “Angel,” and “Liar” in Pegasus, Rose State College’s annual Literary Journal, in 2018.

• Published poems “Black Bones,” “Sea,” “Velvet” and 30’’x 24’’ ink & watercolor on canvas painting, “Watercolor Wings” in Pegasus, Rose State College’s annual Literary Journal, in 2017.

• Self-Published Poetry Collection, Quiet Magic in April 2019, containing over 165 individual poems and more than 9500 words.

• Awarded Top Contributor of the 15th Street News from 2016-2017.

• Parody/Cover writing for Lady Gaga’s “The Cure” performed by YouTuber and World of Warcraft Parody artist, Sharm, 2019.

• Backdrop painting for award-winning actor, drag-queen star, and State Regional Title Holder at American National Star Pageantry, Lukas LaRue in 2016, for which he placed 2nd in the acting portion of the final competition.

Rose State Media Group

From March 2017- May 2020 I published print and digital articles in Rose State College’s newspaper, the 15th Street News, and magazine, The 6420, covering a wide variety of topics including: back-to-school study tips, recipes, fashion advice, in-depth entertainment articles, professor spotlights, and interviews.
